What "official source" means here #
Document links in BROVi Scan's library come from an allowlist of official domains: government, embassy, and institutional sites, extended deliberately by curators, never automatically. A candidate link from outside the allowlist cannot enter the catalog at all. On top of the allowlist, each entry is approved by a human reviewer who checks the actual page, and approved entries are re-checked on a schedule so dead links drop out instead of being served.
Citing and pointing, not replacing #
The library points you to the official source rather than restating its content. Requirements change; a link to the authority's own page stays correct in a way a paraphrase does not. When the assistant answers with a document link, the link is the answer.
What institution marks mean #
Logos and institution names shown on the site mean "sources we track", not endorsement. No embassy, government, university, or airline endorses, sponsors, or partners with BROVi Scan by virtue of appearing in coverage; they are simply where the verified links point.
Honest limit
Verification covers the source and the link's liveness. It does not mean BROVi Scan has authority over the source's content, and it does not freeze the source: an official site can change its requirements between our checks. The official page itself is always the final word.
