Billing and credits FAQ

Credits running out, changing tiers, rollover, and refunds.

Edit suggestion

What happens when my credits run out mid-month? #

Nothing breaks. Every free feature keeps working, and an AI review attempted with an empty balance returns an honest out-of-credits message instead of silently degrading. Your plan credits return at your next billing reset.

Do unused credits roll over? #

No. Plan credits reset each billing period without rollover. The one-time signup credits are separate: they do not reset and do not renew.

Are the free signup credits recurring? #

No. Every new account gets 10 credits exactly once. After they are spent, the free tier continues with everything that is free, which is most of the product.

How do I change tiers? #

Open Settings, then Billing and select Upgrade plan, which takes you to the pricing page to choose a tier. Your current plan is always shown on the billing tab.

Why was I charged 2 credits for the bank AI review but 1 elsewhere? #

The bank statement AI review is a heavier analysis and costs 2 credits; the shared AI readiness review used by the trip match, document, and interview pages costs 1. Both refund automatically if the AI call fails. The full table is in How credits work.

I ran an AI review and it failed. Did I pay? #

No. Charging is deduct-first with automatic refund on failure, so a provider outage never costs you a credit. The usage log in Settings, then Usage reflects this.

Does chatting with the assistant use credits? #

Not at the base rate. Free accounts have a daily message allowance; paid plans include a weekly allowance, and only sustained use beyond it is metered in credits in small batches. The assistant tells you when you reach a limit. See Usage and limits.

Where are refunds handled? #

The Cancellation and Refund Policy governs refunds and cancellations. For anything it does not answer, contact scelta.infinity@gmail.com.
